tapped is on xingfucun rd in chaoyang, and honestly the strip within walking distance is thin. i'd walk 10 min east to Great Leap's original spot on doujiao hutong instead, better patio & less scene-y on weeknights. if u want variety, Jing A on longfusi has a rotating tap list that changes weekly. both are easy taxi rides, maybe 15 min depending on traffic on gongti north rd
nBeer on huguosi dajie is worth the trip if ur heading west anyway, they brew their own & the wangfujing location is cramped. also check Sanlitun's Arrow Factory, tucked behind the main bar strip, solid ipa lineup

Still open, and weeknights are quiet enough to actually talk, with local craft taps around 50 to 70 yuan a pint.
yeah and those prices are happy hour, after 8pm most taps jump closer to 80, plus they rotate the local stuff weekly so ask what's fresh
Monday nights the back room's dead quiet til 9ish
agreed on the quiet part but tbh the food's the real draw, their fish and chips beats most places around Gulou. kitchen stops taking orders around 10 though so dont roll in late expecting to eat.
quiet during the week is right but the draft list thins out by thursday, they dont restock til the weekend rush. go tuesday if u want the full board. also the tiny courtyard out back is the move in march, way less smoky than inside
courtyard's the right call but bring a jacket, it's still chilly after dark that time of year & the heaters out there are weak. also they only take card inside, cash is a hassle
tbh the 50 to 70 range only really holds early on, we usually just grab one pint there then wander.
