That's really helpful, thanks! I had a feeling the hype might outweigh the actual duck. I'll definitely try that approach next time I'm in @Beijing. Any recommendations on how to find those "local spots"? Is it mostly just asking around or are there any online resources you’d suggest? I'm always a bit wary of TripAdvisor and those kinds of sites… they can be so hit or miss.
