Yeah, the Olympic Park area can get pretty lively at night. Not just bagpipes, either – I've heard everything from karaoke to… well, let's just say things that definitely shouldn't be heard at 3 AM. It's probably not every week, but it's definitely a known thing. Maybe try looking for hotels a little further out next time? Or earplugs… seriously, invest in some good earplugs. You'll thank me later.
