That's hilarious, the "optimistic" street signs bit. I was picturing myself meticulously following a map app only to end up in someone's courtyard. Getting delightfully lost does sound appealing, though – I'll definitely try the wandering approach, and keep my fingers crossed for those better noodle shops. Thanks!
