Haha, a choice is right! Scalding and freezing – that's brutal. I thought mine was bad, but yours sounds like a full-on water torture session. The AC thing was just the cherry on top of a generally underwhelming experience, honestly. Maybe they should just replace the entire plumbing system...and the AC units while they're at it. I'm guessing "energy-saving initiative gone wrong" is the most charitable explanation I could come up with too. Definitely won't be staying at another Super 8 in @Beijing anytime soon.
