So I finally made it to the Reignwood Theatre. The architecture is stunning, seriously jaw-dropping. I spent ages just wandering around outside taking pictures. Inside, it was even more impressive

Yeah, Reignwood is ridiculously opulent. Felt like I’d stumbled into a movie set. Did you catch the show? Or was it all about the building itself? I bet the acoustics are amazing in that place.

Totally! The opulence was insane. It felt less like a restaurant and more like a palace accidentally built in a forest. I was more focused on just not getting lost – the place is a maze! But yeah, the acoustics... you're right, I bet they're incredible. Imagine a concert there!

Download a map app offline before you go. Seriously, cell service can be spotty in the hutongs. Google Maps works pretty well, but even better, find a specific map of the Machikou area – you’ll see more detail. Then, pick a few main streets to use as your bearings. Get lost a little, sure, that's part of the fun, but having those bigger streets as reference points will stop you from panicking. Also, take lots of pictures of street signs as you go, just in case. Trust me, it helps way more than you think. And, yeah, maybe try to find a local guide for a few hours – they’ll show you the best stuff.
