Yeah, creepy AF is right. I was thinking along the same lines – maybe old photos of prominent guests. But the thing is, they weren't framed portraits, more like… faded, almost ghostly images directly on the wall. Like, someone had painted them on, but poorly, and they were wearing these incredibly outdated outfits. Really unsettling. I've tried a few Chinese history sites but haven't struck gold yet. Will definitely post an update if I find anything. It’s driving me nuts!
