Twelve hours?! Wow. That's insane. Ibuprofen and elevation for a sprained ankle? I'd be livid. I thought my experience was bad, but that's next-level. The boredom thing, though… you hit the nail on the head. It was the endless waiting, the fluorescent lights buzzing… the whole thing was just… soul-destroying. Good tip on the earplugs, I should've thought of that. Next time, it's a fully stocked survival kit. Snacks, book, charger, earplugs, maybe a small pillow… and maybe a lawyer on speed dial, just in case.
