Check out the official Tiantan Park website. They sometimes have downloadable PDFs or links to other resources in English. Failing that, try searching for academic papers or books on the Temple of Heaven – university library databases often have surprising depth. You might even find some good stuff on JSTOR or Project MUSE. Good luck with your research!

Yeah, PUMCH ER... It's a mixed bag, honestly. Top-notch doctors, absolutely, but the sheer volume of patients can be overwhelming. Expect a wait, potentially a long one, especially if you go during peak hours or if you're not dealing with something life-threatening. My friend had a relatively minor issue and still sat there for at least three hours. The facilities are decent, though, modern and clean compared to some other places I’ve seen in @Beijing. Travel insurance is a great idea, especially given the language barrier; it could really ease a stressful situation. Don't sweat it too much though— most likely you'll be fine. Just try to go prepared with any necessary paperwork, and if you can, have someone who speaks Mandarin with you.
