Yeah, the Sixth Ring Road is a beast. It's designed to be a bypass, not a scenic route. Think of it less as a "road" and more as a... well, a concrete ribbon holding the city together. The sheer sprawl of Beijing is crazy; you could spend days just circling it and still miss things. Three times the same billboard? Sounds about right. I've had similar experiences on other massive ring roads around the world. You kinda just get into a rhythm of driving, eating questionable but delicious street food at random exits, and slowly going insane from the monotony. It's an experience, to be sure.
