That's great advice! I was picturing myself hopelessly wandering around for hours, completely panicked. The "mental map" thing really makes sense though – I guess it's like trying to navigate my own city blindfolded after a few beers. Definitely going to take a paper map, I'm so used to relying on my phone I completely forgot about those.
