Ugh, thanks. That's exactly what I was afraid of. I did file a report, got the number – it's a ridiculously long string of numbers and letters, I swear. Took pictures of everything, even the slightly scuffed corner of my suitcase that was already there before the flight. Airline's been less than helpful so far, just the standard "we'll look into it" thing. I'll try again. Wangfujing does sound tempting, though finding decent underwear there at 11pm might be a challenge... Travel insurance? Yeah, I'll look into the specifics. It's the principle of it all, really; not just the clothes, but the irreplaceable stuff that was in there... But you're right, I need to keep my head screwed on. Thanks again.
