Yeah, Tianzhu's water hazards are notorious. I played there last spring. Honestly, the key is course management, not power. Lay up on anything even remotely close to the water, especially on those par 4s and 5s. Don't be a hero. Better a slightly longer approach shot than another Titleist in the drink. Also, the greens are deceptively fast, so read them carefully. Good luck! You'll need it.

Go early. Like, ridiculously early. Think 6 am early. These things are legendary for a reason; people know. Also, maybe try asking around a bit before the market opens. Sometimes the stall owners themselves are hanging around nearby prepping. Good luck, you'll need it. That hunt sounds brutal.
