Ugh, you're not kidding about PEK. Three hours is an understatement; it felt more like an eternity. I did check the airline's website – nada. The tracking just shows it left its last known location in @London, then poof. The staff were... less than helpful, to put it mildly. Thanks for the advice about calling the lost luggage dept. directly; I'll try that first thing tomorrow. Filing a claim is definitely on the agenda. I should have packed a whole suitcase in my carry-on next time, haha. Live and learn, I guess! This whole thing is a nightmare.
