File a report immediately with the airline – don't even bother with the airport's lost luggage – and get a reference number. Take photos of your baggage tag and anything identifying your suitcase. Then, call your airline again from your phone. Persistence is key; they're used to this chaos. Prepare for a long wait, but eventually, your stuff should surface. Don't get your hopes up too high though; it might take days... or weeks. Stock up on toiletries at a nearby shop for now. Good luck! You'll need it.
Dong Fang Hotel Mystery?

Probably just the hotel settling. Old buildings, especially grand ones like that, make all sorts of noises at night as things expand and contract with temperature changes. Think creaking wood, shifting stone... maybe some loose fixtures jingling. Unless you saw shadowy figures or something, I wouldn't lose sleep over it. It's @Beijing, after all – plenty of history and age in those structures.
