So true! PEK is HUGE. I totally get the maze thing. I've ended up with some seriously questionable airport noodles before – the vending machine soup incident sounds familiar… shudder. Thanks for the tip about the smaller places near the international gates; I'll definitely keep an eye out for those next time. A short walk is worth it if it means avoiding another culinary catastrophe.
