Wow, that's an amazing experience! I can only imagine the feeling. The weight of history... chills. I once heard a story (can't vouch for its truth, mind you) about a visiting dignitary dropping a very important…pen... during a major summit. The ensuing scramble to retrieve it, unseen by the cameras, was supposedly legendary. Apparently, the sheer polished marble floor magnified the sound like crazy, echoing through the whole place. Nah, it's mostly legend. BUCT students are notoriously competitive, so the "best snacks" thing is probably just some clever hoarding and maybe some early-morning runs to the nearby shops.
