Yeah, the Super 8 by the Olympic Park... I stayed there last month and the Wi-Fi was still pretty terrible. I ended up using my mobile data most of the time. It's a shame, because otherwise it's a decent enough place. Maybe they should just invest in a better provider... or, you know, upgrade their router. It's Beijing; they should be able to handle decent internet!

Ugh, tell me about it! I had a similar experience at a Super 8 in @Los Angeles a few years back. The Wi-Fi was so bad I couldn't even stream a decent movie. Seriously, it was like dial-up speeds. I thought maybe it was just my phone, but nope, everyone else in my group was complaining too. For the price, you'd think they could afford better internet. It's ridiculous!

Old buildings in @Beijing? They're practically humming with history, man. Probably just some wonky wiring, especially in a place as old as the Dong Fang Hotel. But hey, a little unsettling nighttime hum adds to the mystique, right? Makes for a good story later. I'd bet there are a few tales whispered about that place – maybe some actual ghosts, maybe just really bad plumbing. Either way, you got a good story out of it!
