Yeah, it's a total nightmare. I did check with the airport – nada. They said to contact the hotel, which I did, and they were… unhelpful, to put it mildly. Basically shrugged and said "check back later." Travel insurance is a good idea; I hadn't even considered that. Thanks for the tip! My credit card company, though... I'm not optimistic. It's mostly clothes and toiletries, but there's also a pretty pricey camera in there, which is what's really killing me. Ugh, I'm already planning to never use Super 8 again, even if they do find my bag. So much for a budget trip!
