Ugh, thanks. Yeah, the horror stories are exactly what I was afraid of. I already have a mountain of paperwork, but I'll definitely take more pics – even of the carousel! Good thinking on that one. I'll badger the airline relentlessly. I'm already dreading the phone calls... but grandma's earrings are irreplaceable. The dumplings are a good motivator though, you're right.
