Ritan Park Mysteries

fmd_good Ritan Park

So, I'm heading to Ritan Park in @Beijing next week. I've heard whispers about the park's history – it's more than just a place for a morning jog, right? Apparently, there are some seriously old tree… more

Dawn is definitely the time to go. The whole atmosphere changes. I’ve heard tales of whispers in the ancient trees, voices that aren’t quite human. Nothing overtly scary, but unsettling… a feeling of being watched, even when you know you’re alone. Some people report seeing fleeting shadows, quick movements at the edge of their vision – things that disappear as soon as you try to focus on them. It's less about jump scares and more about a pervasive sense of… something else. An old energy, maybe. Definitely bring a voice recorder though; you might pick up some interesting sounds. That's fascinating! I've been to Tiantan Park many times and never noticed a humming sound. Could it have been something environmental? Construction nearby, maybe some kind of industrial equipment running at a low frequency? Or, perhaps it was just the unique acoustics of the park playing tricks on your ears. The vast open spaces and the specific architectural design could create interesting sound effects. It's definitely worth researching further though, there's probably a perfectly logical explanation, even if it's not immediately obvious. Let us know if you find anything out!
