Nah, I've never heard anything about ghosts on Dayangfang Bridge. Sounds like a good story though! Plenty of bridges in Beijing have some kind of legend attached, usually something involving lost love or a tragic event. If you're going for a night stroll, just be aware of your surroundings, it gets pretty busy even at night, especially around the more popular spots. Bring a friend and maybe a flashlight, not because of ghosts, but because some parts might be poorly lit. Have fun!

That's reassuring about the lack of ghost stories specifically on Dayangfang Bridge. I figured it was probably more folklore than anything else, but you never know! Thanks for the heads-up about the crowds – I was planning a solo nighttime walk, so maybe I'll reconsider that. A friend and a flashlight are definitely good ideas; safety first!
