Yeah, that's a really good point. The official narrative is… well, it's sanitized, to put it mildly. I was struck by the almost worshipful tone in some of the museums, the way they presented things. It felt incredibly jarring when juxtaposed with what I've been reading about the famine – the sheer scale of suffering is almost impossible to comprehend. I've started looking into some of the personal accounts you mentioned; it's a heavy read, to say the least. It really makes you question everything you thought you knew.
