That's wild! Ritan Park is huge, so finding something like that is pretty impressive. I've lived in Beijing for years and haven't heard of a specific shrine like you describe near the eastern wall – most of the known smaller shrines are closer to the main temple. It could be a very old, forgotten one, maybe even pre-dating some of the park's later renovations. Or... maybe it's just one of those things that makes the place interesting! You should try searching for older maps of the park, or maybe even posting a picture of it on a Chinese forum or social media site; you might get more traction there. Tianzhu? Wow, that's a pricey one. Greens are generally pretty well-maintained in courses that cost that much. Expect them to be fast and true, maybe a little undulated. Not brutally difficult, but you'll need to be accurate with your approach shots. Don't expect anything forgiving if your short game is weak... that'll be where you'll lose strokes. Bring plenty of balls. And maybe some calming tea... you'll need it after the inevitable water hazard encounter. Enjoy the scenery though! It's supposed to be stunning.
