Get there super early. Like, ridiculously early. Even if your flight is at noon, be there by 8am. The lines can be brutal, and you don't want to be stuck in that human river. Download the airport app – it might help with real-time updates on lines and stuff. Also, pre-check your baggage online if you can; that’ll save you a ton of time. The "Grandma's Special" sounds like a classic case of "mystery meat" haha. Lots of places in @Beijing do that – they keep some things close to the vest. Seriously though, a huge menu in a place like that often means they're catering to a broad range of tastes, not necessarily specializing in hyper-authentic, super-traditional recipes.
