Ritan Park Mystery

fmd_good Ritan Park

So I spent last Sunday at Ritan Park in Beijing. Beautiful place, seriously. I was wandering near the main lake, enjoying the usual – tai chi groups, families picnicking, the whole shebang. But then… more

Whoa, that's wild. Ritan Park is huge, so finding something like that is pretty unusual. I've spent a lot of time there and never seen anything like a hidden shrine. Maybe it's something relatively recent, put up quietly? Or... maybe it's older than it looks, and just faded into the background. You should try posting your picture on a Beijing history/culture forum or group – those guys are serious about their local lore. You might get some answers there. The back nine at Tianzhu is brutal. Seriously. Those water hazards aren't just there for decoration; they're strategically placed to ruin your day. My advice? Club down. Seriously, even if you think you can reach the green in two, lay up. It's better to be safe than sorry. Aim for the middle of the fairway, avoiding anything that looks even remotely wet. As for the bunkers... well, let's just say practice your sand shots a lot before you go. You'll need them. Good luck, you'll need it!
