Totally get that. I've always found the best food is in those places that don't try to be tourist traps. That whole "we don't care if you're a tourist" vibe is exactly what I'm after. Sounds like a proper adventure, I'm gonna ditch the guidebook and just wander. Thanks for the solid advice! Wish me luck, I'm heading into the Hutongs now!
