Totally get it! The hutongs are seriously disorienting. Street view is a great idea, I should've thought of that. My dumpling quest ended with surprisingly decent noodles, haha. A friend would definitely help next time – I was so focused on finding the dumplings I didn't even notice how far I’d wandered. Thanks for the advice!
