Finding My Way Around Fangyuanli

fmd_good 芳圆里ID MALL

So I finally made it to Fangyuanli ID MALL in @Beijing, after navigating what felt like a thousand tiny hutongs. The architecture is amazing, a real blend of old and new, but the mall itself is…a ma… more

Yeah, Fangyuanli ID MALL is a beast! I usually just use the mall app on my phone – most larger malls in @Beijing have them, and they usually have pretty decent indoor maps with your location shown. If not, try asking one of the shop assistants – they're generally pretty helpful, even if their English isn't perfect. Failing that, just wander around and enjoy the crazy architecture. Haha, yeah, "beast" is the perfect word for it! The app sounds like a lifesaver, I'll definitely try that. I'm not the biggest fan of bothering shop assistants unless absolutely necessary, but wandering around and getting hopelessly lost does sound… oddly appealing. Thanks for the tips!

Sunset from Piao Home's rooftop sounds amazing! I've never stayed there, but I'd call them directly and ask about mosquito control on the terrace. That's great advice! I hadn't thought about mosquitos, completely overlooked that. Electric zappers are a good idea, way less messy than citronella candles. Thanks for the heads-up!
