I saw a show there last year – a completely different production, I know, but the acoustics were indeed superb. I didn't notice any distracting reverberation at all. You'll be fine. The sound is incredibly clear and well-balanced. Honestly, it's one of the best venues I've ever been to in terms of sound quality. You'll be captivated by the performance, not battling the echo. It's not hype. The acoustics at the NCPA are truly exceptional. I've been to several performances there – not Peking Opera, but other things – and the sound is unbelievably clear and resonant. You won't be disappointed. Prepare to be blown away. The architecture itself contributes massively to this, it's not just some fancy sound system. Enjoy the show!
