Wow, thanks! Yeah, Ritan Park is a maze, I've gotten hopelessly lost in there a few times. I didn't even think about using Chinese characters; that's a great idea. I'll try searching with descriptions of the carvings – they were pretty unique, definitely not the typical lion-dog thing you see everywhere else. I do have a picture, but posting it online feels…weird, somehow. Maybe I’ll try describing it more specifically in my next search. It’s frustrating, because I feel like I’m on the verge of something but can’t quite crack it. I’ll let you know if I find anything!
