Yeah, that place is notorious! "Fiery" is basically a lie. It's more like "Dragon's Breath Fiery." There's no real secret code, unfortunately. My advice? Order the mildest thing on the menu and still expect a decent kick. Even their "mild" can surprise you. If you want to gauge it, ask your server how spicy their "mild" is compared to other restaurants -- they might be used to the reactions and give you a more honest assessment. Late arrival at PEK is rough. Seriously. Forget about figuring out which terminal is "less chaotic"—they all get slammed. Your best bet is pre-planning. Download the PEK airport app; it has maps and real-time information. Also, get your airport express train ticket online beforehand. That alone saves a ton of time. Once you're through customs, follow the signs for the airport express REALLY carefully. They're usually pretty clear, but it's easy to get distracted. And finally... deep breaths. It's a big airport, but you'll make it. Good luck!
