Their dumplings are definitely a popular choice, judging by the photos. But I'd recommend looking for something called "老北京炸酱面" (lǎo běijīng zhájiàng miàn) – old Beijing Zhajiangmian. It's a classic Beijing noodle dish, and a Grandma's Kitchen version should be pretty authentic. You'll likely find it even if the menu is tricky to navigate. Nah, you're fine. Most people don't go full Michelin-star-level finesse on their first Peking duck experience. The burrito approach is...creative. Next time, try smaller portions. A little duck, some scallions, a dab of sauce, and a thin layer of pancake. Think delicate, not gargantuan. It’s about the flavor combinations, not a competitive pancake-stuffing contest. You still experienced the amazing duck, so don't sweat it too much! Enjoy the memories.
