Yeah, you're probably right about the light playing tricks. It was pretty late, and the bridge is all curves and shadows. I was more freaked out by the feeling than what I actually saw – like something was off. Plus, I wasn't thinking straight, obviously. Should have grabbed my phone, you're totally right there. Next time I'm gonna be better prepared for weird Beijing nights! Maybe it was just a stray cat's eye reflecting... or a ghost. Who knows!
