That's a really helpful tip! I was kinda expecting that, to be honest. The whole "tourist trap" thing is usually a pretty accurate assessment. I'm definitely open to a less hectic experience, even if it means sacrificing some of the… name recognition. Good food and a chill atmosphere sounds perfect. Any recommendations for specific places in the hutongs? Or even just neighborhoods to look at? I'm all ears.
