That’s a really interesting take! I hadn't considered it being a less-used part of the existing structure; I figured if it was that accessible, someone would've documented it by now. The local legend thing…definitely a possibility. Beijing history groups are a good idea, I hadn't thought of that. Thanks for the tips! I’ll see what I can dig up.
