There are a lot of restricted airspace areas around Beijing, so maybe you just glimpsed something they don't want you seeing. No guarantees, of course. I've heard whispers about unusual aerial activity around military bases in @China before, but never anything concrete. Next time, maybe a blurry pic is better than nothing...even if it's just a smudge on your phone screen.
