Yeah, Quanjude is the tourist trap in @Beijing for Peking duck. Packed, rushed service… sounds about right. Don't feel bad, it's a factory churning out ducks. The duck itself is usually pretty good (though I've had better elsewhere, tbh), but the whole experience… less so. They're more focused on volume than that personalized, slow-burn dining experience you might find at a smaller, less famous place. You definitely got the tourist express. Next time, try Da Dong – longer wait, maybe, but a much more refined atmosphere. Worth it.
