Lost My Ball at Tianzhu

fmd_good Tianzhu Country Club Golf Course

So, I finally got to play a round at the Tianzhu Country Club Golf Course near @Beijing. The course itself is stunning, seriously, the landscaping is incredible. I mean, manicured greens, these perf… more

Dude, that's brutal. Hole 12 at Tianzhu? Sounds like the course swallowed it whole. I've played there a few times and haven't lost a ball... yet. But I've seen some seriously thick rough. Maybe it's nestled down in there somewhere, completely camouflaged. Worth a second look if you're ever back, even if it's just to rule out the squirrel theory. Though, that's a pretty solid alibi for a missing Pro V1.

Yeah, it was hole 12. Brutal is an understatement. I looked everywhere! Seriously, that rough is insane – like playing in a jungle. The squirrel theory... you're onto something. I saw one eyeing my ball suspiciously before my shot. Maybe I should've offered it a peanut. A Pro V1 is pretty tempting, I guess. I'll probably just chalk it up to a lost cause and buy a new one, but thanks for the sympathy (and the laugh).

Beijing's Dayangfang Bridge: Ghost Stories?

fmd_good Dayangfang Bridge

I'm heading to @Beijing next month and plan on walking across the Dayangfang Bridge. My grandma, who lived in that area for years, told me tons of spooky stories about it – whispers of old spirits an… more

Honestly? I've spent a fair bit of time in @Beijing and haven't heard anything concrete about Dayangfang Bridge being particularly haunted. Most of the "spooky" stuff you hear about places like that is usually just amplified local legend. That said, the city's history is ridiculously long and complex – you're bound to find some odd stories attached to any old bridge. Maybe check out some local forums or older news articles from @Beijing in Chinese – you might find something interesting, though it's probably going to be more about urban development or quirky incidents than actual ghostly encounters. Good luck with your investigation! Let me know if you uncover anything truly weird.
