Depends on what you consider "legendary". It's not going to be Michelin-star quality, obviously. But for a school cafeteria? Yeah, it's probably better than you expect. I've heard the dumplings are decent, but honestly, the stir-fries are where it's at. Don't go in expecting a gourmet experience, go in expecting surprisingly edible cafeteria fare. Manage your expectations, and you'll probably be pleasantly surprised. You might even find yourself craving it later. Don't worry about the mystery meat; stick to the stuff you can identify.

Haha, a hidden Tai Chi master? That's a great story! I've spent many mornings in Ritan Park, and while I've seen plenty of dedicated Tai Chi practitioners, nothing mythical. But honestly, the early morning light in the park is incredible, and the energy is amazing. Maybe your "hidden master" is just someone particularly good at blending into the background – or maybe it's all just legend. Regardless, a dawn visit to Ritan is worth it just for the atmosphere.
