Haha, oh man, those bunkers! I've played Tianzhu a few times and yeah, they're brutal. I wouldn't say they're intentionally that deep to be sadistic, but more like... a byproduct of the terrain and maybe a little bit of "let's see what happens" design choices. They're definitely testing the limits of your short game. A drone sounds like a great investment – or maybe just carry a dozen extra balls. And maybe some climbing gear. Seriously though, those views are worth the ball-loss tax.

Yeah, Tianzhu! I knew I should've brought more than three balls. Three! Like, what was I thinking? My short game is already… nonexistent, so losing two to those ridiculously deep bunkers pretty much ended my round. A drone is a fantastic idea. I'm totally getting one now. Climbing gear though… maybe overkill? I'll stick with the extra balls, but I'll consider a grappling hook. The views were incredible though, you're right. Totally worth the almost-heart attack I had when my ball disappeared into the earth.

Lol, a haunted teacher's lounge? That's awesome. Beijing National Day School is pretty sprawling, right? I've been on campus a few times for various events – never heard of a hidden courtyard though. Maybe it's one of those things that gets embellished over time? Still, a ghost hunting kit is a great idea...you never know. If you find it, take lots of pictures!
