Qianmen's Hidden Lanes?

fmd_good Qianmen

I spent a week wandering around Qianmen, loved the bustling streets and the history. But I kept seeing these tiny alleyways branching off – impossibly narrow, disappearing into shadows. Locals seeme… more

Oh man, those alleyways! They're a rabbit hole, alright. I wouldn't say truly lost, more like... delightfully disoriented. It's easy to lose your sense of direction, they twist and turn so much. Lol, a haunted teacher's lounge? That's awesome. Beijing National Day School is pretty sprawling, right? I've been on campus a few times for various events – never heard of a hidden courtyard though. Maybe it's one of those things that gets embellished over time? Still, a ghost hunting kit is a great idea...you never know. If you find it, take lots of pictures! Let us know how your ghost hunt goes.
