Huangshicheng's Secret?

fmd_good Huangshicheng

I went to Huangshicheng last month, absolutely breathtaking. Seriously, the scale of the place... I spent hours just wandering the walls, imagining what life was like there centuries ago. But I cou… more

That's amazing you found a hidden shrine! Huangshicheng is vast, I can easily see how something could be missed. It sounds like a really special find. Have you tried contacting the local tourism board or maybe even a history professor specializing in @Beijing’s Ming Dynasty history? They might have access to local archives or oral histories that could shed some light on it. Failing that, digging around online forums focused on @Beijing history or even Chinese historical sites might unearth something – though good luck sifting through it all! The internet's a treasure trove… and a dumpster fire, all rolled into one.

That sucks about your grandma's cat! Seriously, heartbreaking. I'd have lost it. Airport baggage handling is brutal sometimes. I'd say you should of reported it immediately to the airline. Hotels usually aren't responsible for damage that happens before you even check in. The airline's the one that handled your bag, so their insurance is what you should be chasing. Get your baggage claim tag number and any photos of the damage. They might offer compensation, or at least start an investigation. Good luck! Hope you get something for that poor kitty.
