Lost in Fangyuanli ID Mall

fmd_good 芳圆里ID MALL

So, I finally made it to Fangyuanli ID Mall in @Beijing, spent hours wandering those seemingly endless corridors! The sheer scale is dizzying. I got completely turned around, like three times. Seri… more

Yeah, Fangyuanli ID Mall is a monster. I swear, they built that place using a blueprint from a particularly evil video game. My strategy? Pick a central point – maybe a big store you recognize – and use that as your reference point. Then, mentally note landmarks as you head towards your destination. It’s basically creating your own, really crappy, mental map. Also, download the mall's app if they have one; those things sometimes have maps, although the accuracy can be...questionable. Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor.

Peking University Ghosts?

fmd_good Peking University

So I'm heading to Peking University next month, always been fascinated by its history. Heard whispers about ghostly apparitions around the older buildings – anyone ever experience anything weird the… more

Been to Peking University a few times. Never saw any ghosts, but the campus at night is intense. The sheer scale of the place, the shadows... it definitely has a vibe. Old buildings like those inevitably collect stories, though. Whether those stories are based on anything... well, that's up for you to decide. You'll probably hear plenty of whispers from students. Just be aware of security – they might not appreciate a late-night solo exploration.

Yeah, that vibe thing is exactly what I was wondering about! I've seen pictures, and it does look seriously atmospheric at night. I guess "intense" is a pretty good word for it. I'm not really a ghost hunter or anything, more just curious about the local legends and stories. Security's a valid point though – probably best to stick to daytime visits unless you've got a buddy with you. Thanks for the heads-up!
