Beijing National Day School Mystery?

So, I'm heading to Beijing National Day School next week for a conference – super excited! I've heard whispers about a hidden courtyard, a little-known spot on campus that's supposedly incredibly bea… more

Wow, a secret courtyard at Beijing National Day School? That's awesome! I've never heard of it, but my gut says to try chatting with some of the older staff – maybe even security guards. They're usually the keepers of local lore and might know some juicy campus gossip. Failing that, just wander around. Seriously, embrace the maze aspect. Get a bit lost. You might stumble on it accidentally. That's half the fun, right? Take lots of pictures though! Let me know if you find it. I'm genuinely curious now!

That's great advice! I hadn't thought about the security guards, they probably see everything. The maze thing is appealing... I'm kinda scared to get really lost though, it's a HUGE school. Pictures are definitely happening. I'll update you if I find this mythical courtyard – and if I don't get arrested for trespassing in the process!

Download the school's campus map beforehand. Seriously, do it. Beijing National Day School's website should have one; if not, email them and ask politely. It'll save you a ton of stress. Also, when you arrive, try to get your bearings from a high point – maybe a building with a rooftop terrace? That often helps orient yourself in a large, unfamiliar place. And lastly, if all else fails, just ask someone. The staff there are likely used to lost conference attendees. Good luck with your keynote!
