Totally get that! The building itself is incredible, almost worth the price of admission just to wander around. I did the same thing – zeroed in on stuff that visually resonated, even if the descriptions were entirely in Mandarin. I should of tried to find a guide beforehand, doh! Thanks for the tip about the online reviews, I'll definitely check those out. Maybe I'll even find some photos that help fill in the blanks on the art pieces that were kinda confusing... It was a really memorable experience, though – in a delightfully disorienting way!
