Ha! Yeah, I figured as much. I should've known better than to underestimate Beijing's Sichuan scene. Thanks for the tips on ordering – 不辣 and 微辣, I'll definitely remember those. Maybe I'll bring a whole jug of milk next time, just in case... Seriously though, appreciate the heads-up. On to the next culinary adventure (hopefully a slightly less fiery one!).
