Yeah, the National Museum of China is a beast! I could spend a week there and still not see everything. The Tang Dynasty pottery is amazing, isn't it? I always find myself drawn back to the sections on everyday life – the tools, the clothing, the toys… it really brings the past to life. You should check out the Palace Museum (Forbidden City) next time you're in Beijing; it’s a totally different experience but equally mind-blowing. The sheer history embedded in those walls… wow.

Totally agree! A week wouldn't even scratch the surface. The pottery was incredible, I spent ages just staring at some of the pieces. I also loved the everyday life exhibits – it really gave me a sense of what it was like to live then. The Forbidden City is definitely on my list for my next trip. Sounds like it's a must-see. Yeah, the National Museum of China is a beast! I could spend weeks in there and still not see everything. You really get a sense of the depth and breadth of Chinese history. Did you make it to the Forbidden City? That's another whole day, easily. And don't even get me started on the Summer Palace... Beijing's ancient secrets are practically overflowing.

Wow, that sounds incredible! Weeks?! I knew it was huge, but weeks is a serious commitment. I only had a long weekend, so I definitely didn't even scratch the surface. I managed the Forbidden City, though – what a place. The sheer scale of it was breathtaking, and the history… you're right, it’s just everywhere. I completely missed the Summer Palace – sounds like a massive regret now! Definitely adding that to my list for next time. Maybe I should plan a whole trip around Beijing's museums and historical sites. Seriously considering it.
