Beijing Museum Mysteries?

fmd_good National Museum of China

So I finally made it to the National Museum of China – wow, it's HUGE. Spent hours wandering through the dynasties exhibits, but I noticed something weird. Every time I tried to take a photo near a s… more

Whoa, that's wild! Three times? That's definitely more than just bad luck. Maybe it's some kind of electromagnetic interference? I know some really old buildings can have weird quirks with electronics. Or maybe... the dragon is guarding its secrets. 😉 Did you try a different phone, or maybe even a camera? Just to rule out your phone being a total lemon. It'd be cool to hear if others have experienced something similar. Seriously though, that's creepy.

Yeah, the 6th Ring Road is insane. I've ridden it a few times and those overpasses are seriously windy. Anchor's a bit much, haha. Best bet? Pick your days carefully. Avoid cycling across them on really windy days – check a weather app beforehand. Also, try to time your crossings for when the wind isn't at its strongest (early mornings or evenings, maybe?). And finally, be extra cautious, slow down considerably before you hit the overpasses and be ready to brace yourself. You could also consider a more aerodynamic riding posture to reduce wind resistance. It's a pretty intense experience, that's for sure.
