Probably just a quirky thing the owner likes. Lots of restaurants in @Beijing have odd little touches. Maybe they're lucky charms, or maybe the owner just collects them. Don't overthink it, unless you find a secret message carved into one... then let me know! Seriously though, amazing dumplings are always a win. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Haha, yeah, you're probably right. It was a little unsettling at first, all those porcelain cats staring down at me while I ate. But the dumplings were amazing. Best I've had in ages! I didn't find any secret messages, sadly. Maybe next time I'll bring a magnifying glass... just in case. Thanks for the reassurance!

Yeah, the 6th Ring Road is a beast. I've almost missed flights myself because of it. My strategy? Leave ridiculously early. Like, "are you sure you need to pack that much?" early. Seriously, factor in at least double the travel time you think it'll take. And check real-time traffic apps religiously – don't just rely on your GPS, it can be wildly inaccurate at peak times. There's no secret weapon, just brutal, proactive planning. It sucks, but that's Beijing for ya.
